February 23 to March 4

Another 10 days have come and gone and once again I am not up to date with my photos... I think of putting them in and then get into the 7300 photos I have been working on for Opa and forget what I should be doing... Maybe after they are done I will be more faithful to both my blogs... The Melanson News is no better...

I got a call from my friend Flora asking me to take some photos of my cattails in the field... I actually have quite a few of them around in the fall but these are the only ones that remain standing this winter...

The red breasted gross beak came to the feed a few weeks ago and decided that it likes it here.. so I have many chances to snap photos of them...

Okay there is a little arrow here on this photo and it is the reason why I snapped the shoot...there is a tunnel that a squirrel uses to get to our feeders and since I was too lazy to go outside in the weather we are having I took it from the window... Mother Nature was nice to the little fellow leaving the snow drift around it... I am sure it will not matter if Maggie notices it going into it.. it will be covered as she goes after it...

My poor cowboy is getting closer and closer to being buried this winter... I am going to have to go out and see how much he is covered now that we had another bunch of snow...

My little feed the birds lady has been hit hard this winter...actually I forgot to take her in .. her little feeder is gone and her sign is about to fall off... I guess I will have to do some work on her come the spring...

I put the calendar holder up in January.... even fixed the problem with the calendar and the hole lining up... with a cute little button... and yet it is March 2nd and it is still on January... the funny part I actually take a look at it every once in a while to see what the date is... the date may be right but the day is surely not... lol

My puppies on the first day of Carl being away from the house.. not a happy bunch of puppies I have to say.... Carl is away helping out a friend for the week.. and they are not pleased with him at all...

More snow came down yesterday ... and a little flakes are showing up this morning was trying to get a photo of them but they just came out blurry... oh well...
