Well another week has gone by and a perfect score once again... I guess I just don't want to feel like a failure on something that I know that can do....
This week I actually adventured outside of the house and actually carried my camera with me... of course there were reasons for that... there was things that were going on... Like tonight my first mother-in-law's birthday which we celebrated in a local restaurant... so of course there were plenty of photos taken...

Actually this one doesn't count since it was taken by someone else but thought I would put it in anyway... we were are Carl's sister's for dinner and I asked Opa to take a photo of us since one of my sons ( not saying which one but they know who they are) was complaining that day that I didn't send him a photo yet...
A photo of a photo something I am actually getting better at... there is a lot of photos that Carl's Aunt Rita has and they are old and in frames and I really don't want to take them out of her house to my house to scan them so I snap a photo of it... this one is of Carl's great great grandmother Christie on his mother's side... so you know where we spent a good part of our afternoon that day....

This one is to tell you two things.. .the snow is slowly melting around the house and that Mr. Nutty who has not been around for a few days is back... and still has not found his way up to the big feeder yet... I am hoping I am around the day he does....March 25, 2009
My niece's first page ever of scrap booking... and of course I had to snap a shot of it... she is making a book for her son for when he grows up...March 26, 2009
Well after all these months he has finally found a way to get into the large feeder ...and I tell you he spent most of the morning eating away until the puppies were put outside...

Carl and his Aunt Rita ... Carl being in 7th heaven as he looks through the many books of history and photos on the family.... we go in thinking that we will be there for a bit and the bit turns into hours... the man is hooked on family history...March 28, 2009
The other day I was coming home from the Walmart and as I drove down what we call Branch's Hill... because there is only Branches that live on that hill I happen to look over and noticed the Church sticking out so clearly with all the trees bare of leaves so Saturday as we were heading home I went back up and snapped a few photos...March 29, 2009
My first Father and Mother - in-laws... this was this evening at dinner while we were celebrating her birthday... they both don't look too bad for 82 years old... and Pa still has that mischievous looking look in his eye... I have decided to get it printed and framed for them... I am sure they don't have a recent photo of themselves... Have a good one all I am off to crawl into bed put the television on before going to la la land... Joanne

Mr. Nutty enjoying the sun and a snack outside my window... actually it was a quiet day at the bird feeders... so he got to spend a lot of time there alone and not fighting off the other 5 that are usually around...
My little red bike that has been covered all winter because someone forgot to pick it up in the fall is finally uncovered... but as I took the photo I see the shape that the old feeder that the boys' father built and still wonder how I am going to repair it so it will still continue to have its place in my garden....
It is totally amazing how thick the ground is with seeds... now if I can talk Carl into not mowing around the feeder for a while maybe we will have a few sunflowers this year... a few hundred that is he he....
On February 27th, I snapped a photo of my little cowboy at the tree and it was almost covered... since then it has been but Thursday as I was looking out the window I noticed that it was almost showing its whole self... not saying that the snow is almost gone... now that would be a miracle but it is a sure sign that spring is on the way... the chimes also lasted the winter... something else I forgot to pick up before the snow covered the lawn...
A cup for you and a cup for me... just don't put coffee in mine... I still love my tea...
And as usual as I am working away at the computer my puppies are on the bed having a lie down... lay down ... which ever one is right... but are not always sleeping as Kodak is watching as I am clicking at the keys... he always has at least one eye on me...

Okay there is a little arrow here on this photo and it is the reason why I snapped the shoot...there is a tunnel that a squirrel uses to get to our feeders and since I was too lazy to go outside in the weather we are having I took it from the window... Mother Nature was nice to the little fellow leaving the snow drift around it... I am sure it will not matter if Maggie notices it going into it.. it will be covered as she goes after it...

My little feed the birds lady has been hit hard this winter...actually I forgot to take her in .. her little feeder is gone and her sign is about to fall off... I guess I will have to do some work on her come the spring...
A photo through the feeder ....
