This week it has been a lot of I am on my way home but end up turning left then right and ending up getting home an hour or so later then I thought I was...one of my favorite places this time of the year is around the Basin where the ducks are... of course I bought some crack corn to feed them but took it over to mom and dad's to give them some and ended up forgetting it on top of the fridge and I still have not picked it up so I have been on the mercy of others that come and visit them...

I have been playing with the setting on my camera for the first time since I got it over a year ago... thank you Jill... after cleaning out my cupboard I actually found my book on the camera now to get to them to sit down and read up on all these setting and see what I am going to come up with next.... There are many days I have driven by this tree and thought of it was a little odd so I finally took the time to take a photo... it doesn't show it in the photos but the tree is very tall but that is about all that is on the tree.. all the rest is gone...

Two nights in a row at the ducks... this rock is the one I took several years ago during the spring time... when the ice was all around it and the sun was shining oh so perfect... I only had my sandels on but there is a series of rocks that I would like to snap so I do have to go back with my sneakers on... to do it .. I have to climb down a bank to get to it... the river is filled with down as the ducks wandr around this area.... Septembr 09, 2009
Grey Heron Crane... as I was driving up to west for something or other and what was sitting in the harbour... I have to say I am very happy about the little parking lot that they made allow the back of the Fed Building for us to park and picnic tables along the way so we can walk or sit or take photos... Mom and I were at the Dollar Store and I found some scare crows so you know that I came home with several of them.. I only came home with one of them the others are in mom's flower beds... she is enjoying them... September 11, 2009
