August 18 to August 24, 2009

Another week has come and gone and I am back with more photos to share... now I have to say there is a few that were taken on the same day but were meant to be taken on the days that they are marked... like Friday's I drove by to see that the tower was finally up but didn't get much time to return with my camera to take the photo because I forgot to pack it in the car as I was leaving.. .imagine me without my camera.. so when I was out this morning alone which is something else that I have not been since Wednesday I took the time to take the photo for Friday....

One of these days I am going to have an accident and it is going to be my fault and I will admit to it ... I have a thing with clouds and when they caught my eye I can't seem to look away and pay attention to the road... this one was one of those that I said enough is enough and stopped to snap it... I guess clouds are like sunrises and sunsets.. never one the same and I would love to caught everyone of them....

Too tall grass going to seed but it looks like wheat to me... mixed with the cattails and its blades of grass... I love this stuff and taking photos of it makes it all worth the time I take to do it...

Another old barn not looked after and about to fall down and I am there with the camera to snap a few photos of it before it comes tumbling down and it will be no more...

It has taken most of the summer but the roof is finally on the tower downtown... now I can't wait to get up there to take a few photos of our town at a different view .... well went they decide to open it up that is... How come I am thinking there is going to be a gift shop or something like it at the ground level...

Carl and I took off Saturday morning and did a little trip the long way to Mr. Tomato just to see what there was in their bakery... and came across this stainless steel soldier... in Millerton NB...

I once again escaped from the house early morning but a little too late to get the sunrising... but caught the Canadian Flag waving very proudly on the causeway....

This is what greeted me this morning... ohhh so beautiful...

Carl left at 3:30 am and I got up at 4 and at 5:30 I said no way am I going to miss this one... so I pulled on a pair of jeans, my old favorite flannel shirt just in case it was cool but the bay and my trustee wool cap not to show anyone that happened to go by that I didn't brush my hair yet....but I never thought there would be so much traffic down this way at this hour of the morning....came home happy after snapping almost 100 photos so I can have a few good ones.....it was a cloudy day but beautiful just the same... going to have to go back and try for the sun another day.....

With the do over TV room I got into my photos again looking for things to hang on the walls... when that was finished I started to replace those that have been hanging for the last year... I see a few of these being hung in the near future...

Have a great week all... I thought I would have some different photos for you this coming week with a trip down country but Matt's home going to do it when he leaves... a puppies and me trip.... Joanne
