Another week has come and gone and I am back with more photos to share... now I have to say there is a few that were taken on the same day but were meant to be taken on the days that they are marked... like Friday's I drove by to see that the tower was finally up but didn't get much time to return with my camera to take the photo because I forgot to pack it in the car as I was leaving.. .imagine me without my camera.. so when I was out this morning alone which is something else that I have not been since Wednesday I took the time to take the photo for Friday....

One of these days I am going to have an accident and it is going to be my fault and I will admit to it ... I have a thing with clouds and when they caught my eye I can't seem to look away and pay attention to the road... this one was one of those that I said enough is enough and stopped to snap it... I guess clouds are like sunrises and sunsets.. never one the same and I would love to caught everyone of them....

Too tall grass going to seed but it looks like wheat to me... mixed with the cattails and its blades of grass... I love this stuff and taking photos of it makes it all worth the time I take to do it...

It has taken most of the summer but the roof is finally on the tower downtown... now I can't wait to get up there to take a few photos of our town at a different view .... well went they decide to open it up that is... How come I am thinking there is going to be a gift shop or something like it at the ground level...

This is what greeted me this morning... ohhh so beautiful...

Carl left at 3:30 am and I got up at 4 and at 5:30 I said no way am I going to miss this one... so I pulled on a pair of jeans, my old favorite flannel shirt just in case it was cool but the bay and my trustee wool cap not to show anyone that happened to go by that I didn't brush my hair yet....but I never thought there would be so much traffic down this way at this hour of the morning....came home happy after snapping almost 100 photos so I can have a few good ones.....it was a cloudy day but beautiful just the same... going to have to go back and try for the sun another day.....

With the do over TV room I got into my photos again looking for things to hang on the walls... when that was finished I started to replace those that have been hanging for the last year... I see a few of these being hung in the near future...

Have a great week all... I thought I would have some different photos for you this coming week with a trip down country but Matt's home going to do it when he leaves... a puppies and me trip.... Joanne

This week I have spent a lot of time is other people's gardens taking pictures of their creations... I have been driving around town all summer admiring all the work that other people have done with their flowers and never really took the time to see if I could take some photos of them... until this week... I found out that people love to know that someone else is admiring the work they have done to make their yards look so beautiful... I also have walked through a few fields of wild flowers as well.... discovering a few things about my camera since I really have not taken the time to do that since I got it almost a year ago....

While I was in yet another yard I noticed the squash flowers in their patch and how beautiful they are... so I took several photos of these as well....

Though I had several photos I decided I wanted for this day... when I drove in my year and seen the two jets in the sky I knew that this would be the one that would end up being posted... I remember going to the beach with the boys when they were younger with no camera and seeing the hundreds of jets that flew over head... today when I get a chance I snap them....

Last week I got out a few times but today I decided that it had to be a field of flowers... actually I was looking for cat tails and grass that looked like wheat... and as I drove around my old neighborhood before heading home... I found what I was looking for... but once again it was given up for this little daisy that seem to be saying take me I am so pretty...

Fall is soon going to be upon us and there will be no more flowers to take... but the leaves will be changing which is yet another favorite thing of mine... I seem to go by hay season without time or a camera to snap them making their hay... but then I don't like being too close to all of that since I have allergies to the stuff... I also need a trip to my sister's place to take some photos of her wonderful flower beds and of course her grapes....

I know it has been a while but I was busy with many things... going out with my niece Jill and her new camera... love her new camera don't like her at all... but she knows I I do just a little jealous... well okay a lot jealous... I want one too... and painting my TV room which took a lot longer then I thought it would but then Carl was suppose to be away for two weeks I had all the time in the world... but I am here with some more photos for you to see... enjoy

Jill and I were along the river... we didn't drive all that far when I stopped the car for a photo of this that and the other thing... these got my curiosity up from afar we were not sure what they were.. but they are cones that the tree sap dropped on to... I thought it was very cool...

Bumble bees and camera ... the first camera I had and discovered that I could a distance away from them and take a picture I think that summer I had hundreds of bumble butts... and as you can see I am still taking them after 12 years....

Ok I am not really a bug person .... I don't like them flying around me and sure as heck not on me.. but I was making tea and went to get water and found this on my sink... of course I had to take a photo of it only hoping that it wouldn't take off on me before I did... and yes it disappeared after the photo shoot... not saying where some people wouldn't be happy with me at all... but I really don't like bugs especially in my house....

I just painted the wall aqua and left it at that...

Thinking that a photo and frame would have

been easier which was my real first thought...

now to find a photo I want to put on it...

It has been 8 days since I sat down and actually took a look at the photos that were suppose to posted on this blog... I can't believe that it has been that long...but it is summer and there is always something to do or somebody to see...

This morning while I was typing away on the computer I happened to look out my window and spotted these roses that seem to have appeared out of no where... the color was just outstanding... actually for a far they look almost unreal... but they are and though there is only a few of them this year so far which I blame on all the rain we have had still showed up...

I live in a small place and the traffic at any time of the day is not all that heavy that I am or any one else for that matter is stuck in traffic for any length of time except for the summer... not because there is that many visitors but because of all the work that is being done on the roads around here... though most times it doesn't really make much of an improvement to our driving... just more lumps and bumps in the roads...

So on this day as I was trying to get across town and they had us stopped because they were re paving the bridge I got bored waiting so I took some photos...

On April 7th I snapped a picture of a boat on its side from the top of the hill leading into the drive way of Tim Horton's... I decided to get a close up of only to see that the bigger boat was actually leaning on a smaller one...

The last day of the month... and I had these two gentlemen outside of my house all day long as they cleaned out the ditches along the way... actually the ditch now on the front part of my lawn is close to 6 feet high... not a very happy woman at all...

Well that is it for now... hopefully I will be back a little sooner then the last time.. Have a wonderful long weekend for those here in Canada... it is New Brunswick weekend this weekend.. and lots of company... Joanne
