Another week has almost passed me by without coming in to post photos... but it has been a busy one.... I got up to an empty house... no man no puppies... so thought it was a perfect time for me to sit and get this and the other blog done before they return...
There is one thing people can't accuse me of being over observant because that is not something I am... These are May Flower that my son picked and put on my kitchen window sill which I only noticed a week or so after he left for work... that was a month ago... and they are still sitting there... the water is gone but they seem to be looking just as if they were picked yesterday... and why don't I just pick them up and throw them out... well like the little sail boat that he made several years ago before heading out west... sat on the window just to remind of him every now and then when I noticed it....June 10, 2009
How rude can people be these days when so many people are yelling our environment others are not giving a hoot about it leaving their garage where ever it falls... this was in the parking lot of our locate Blockbusters...

Columbines... they disappeared on me for several years and this year have come back in full force... I notice these flowers many years ago around my parent's house... something my grandmother planted many years before I was even alive.. and when I started my flower beds I was determined to have some of my own with hopes that I would get a plant or two from my parents... but every time I went to get them after they flowered someone had cut them down... so I finally found some of my own... but last year I put up a little fence around several of the ones at the house so I still may have one of Nanny's....

Today it rained all day and as I was coming into the house I took the camera out since I had not taken a picture that day and went to my lilac tree to take a few photos of the rain drops on them.. another favorite photo moment I enjoy trying to capture....

Today was a glorious day for me...the sun was shining.. there was just enough of a breeze that the flies were not bugging me all that much... and after my normal Saturday trip to town... to the market, visiting parents... I came home ignored the phone... got into my old clothes and headed for the yard to get so many things that I have been saying I was going to do but never got done... and one of these things was my tricycle... that I got last winter.... so it is not secured to the ground with flowering pots and flowers... now another day like this and I might get all the other lawn decorations out ....
