June 24 to 28

This week was a week of taking photos of things I have been thinking about... going by and not stopping and stopping again... this time I stopped or went and visited things I wanted to take photos of.... finally... only to find myself revisiting the places again today... because there was just too much to take all at once... well to tell you the truth ... I forgot to recharge my spare battery and ran out of power.... silly me....

The last time I posted I started with the bud of the clematis and once again I start again but this time with the bloom... this is one of my favorites... it is so full of cheer... you can see it from a distance inviting me to come see it... actually I noticed from my bedroom window the day it came to life....

It has been foggy around here or in this part of town for several days now... but this is a photo I wanted to take this spring when I first noticed the tree sticking out from all the others... I think I will have to go back in the fall and try this again when the tree is bare... that is what I wanted to take in the first place... I thought it looked cool...

Another one of those photos I have been meaning to take and never have for several years actually... it is on the way down to a friend's cottage... I have never seen any children playing around it but I am sure at one time there were many of them... I am still trying to figure out how they got to ball to bounce on the sand... or they had a different version of basket ball at the beach....

I had to get off this computer this morning so I took off with camera on seat and a very large cup of tea from Tim's and headed for the beach... ohhh this is one of the many beach flowers I found along the way....

I was some surprised when I went out for a walk and found the clematis were actually starting to bloom... I thought I had lost them when we transplanted them into the entrance of the pathway...

I also transplanted my Grandmother's rose bush this year because it was not really doing all that great where it was at... and as the rain stopped for a short time I thought I would take a walk about the beds and found that there were roses starting on the plant... once again I was worried that they were not going to survive the move....

And as I passed it once again... all the rubble was gone and earth was being put into it's place... the strange thing is every time I have passed this place in the last two days I have not seen the driver of the whatever you call that machine... I call it a tractor of some kind...

I have passed this house everyday for several weeks... I remember the first time I noticed the planter box and thought now that was something I would like to have in my yard and thought of what I would do with it... then one day the butterflies were put up... which I can't complain about it because I have a few of them on my hot house... then a week ago I came along and all these tacky plastic flower were placed in the planter... around the house and yard... I couldn't believe it... then yesterday when I was coming home I seen a house for sale sign on the lawn... hmmm wondering are they really thinking all this tackiness is actually going to pull people in to buy the house... or are they really trying to sell it... I know I wouldn't go near the place....

Well the planters have been planted with one request from Roger .. .get pansies .. .Flo loves Pansies... so I did some hunting because there was none in town... but found some down this way... so there you go Flo there is pansies in the flower boxes at mom and dad's just for you and they are not plastic ones either... he he

Have been watching butterflies land on my lilac tree for the last week or so and never had the camera around... tonight I didn't have it either but it stuck around until I went and got it... the picture is not a great one because I took it through the dining room window... but it is not bad.. he he

This afternoon when we got home Carl decided to cut the lawn... the puppies were not happy that I was slow with getting them out of the house so Carl decided that they needed to take a drive since they didn't come with us to town... Publish Post

Taking their leases and hooking them to the wagon... he started on his way... the only thing is that the puppies didn't really want to be on this ride... this is one of the few photos I took with them actually in the little wagon... I had a good laugh...

Another week has almost passed me by without coming in to post photos... but it has been a busy one.... I got up to an empty house... no man no puppies... so thought it was a perfect time for me to sit and get this and the other blog done before they return...

There is one thing people can't accuse me of being over observant because that is not something I am... These are May Flower that my son picked and put on my kitchen window sill which I only noticed a week or so after he left for work... that was a month ago... and they are still sitting there... the water is gone but they seem to be looking just as if they were picked yesterday... and why don't I just pick them up and throw them out... well like the little sail boat that he made several years ago before heading out west... sat on the window just to remind of him every now and then when I noticed it....

Columbines... they disappeared on me for several years and this year have come back in full force... I notice these flowers many years ago around my parent's house... something my grandmother planted many years before I was even alive.. and when I started my flower beds I was determined to have some of my own with hopes that I would get a plant or two from my parents... but every time I went to get them after they flowered someone had cut them down... so I finally found some of my own... but last year I put up a little fence around several of the ones at the house so I still may have one of Nanny's....

Today it rained all day and as I was coming into the house I took the camera out since I had not taken a picture that day and went to my lilac tree to take a few photos of the rain drops on them.. another favorite photo moment I enjoy trying to capture....

Today was a glorious day for me...the sun was shining.. there was just enough of a breeze that the flies were not bugging me all that much... and after my normal Saturday trip to town... to the market, visiting parents... I came home ignored the phone... got into my old clothes and headed for the yard to get so many things that I have been saying I was going to do but never got done... and one of these things was my tricycle... that I got last winter.... so it is not secured to the ground with flowering pots and flowers... now another day like this and I might get all the other lawn decorations out ....

Herman being released back into the wild... not too far from the house...Carl was not sure if he wanted to let it go but knew he had to since we really didn't have much time to take care of it... we have a problem looking after the fish well not him me when he is gone... I am always forgetting to feed them... and if the puppies were as quiet as the fish I would probably forget about them as well.. but they make sure I know it is chow time with them....

This is Kodak one of our two dogs...Carl left for Fredericton on Tuesday night and this is where he has been since he drove out of the driveway... waiting and sniffing the door as he waits for his return... I think he is missing Carl... he will be very excited tomorrow when he returns... both of them just howl up a storm when the jeep drives in the yard it is actually very funny to watch and listen to...

On my way home I noticed how wonderful the clouds were and wanted to take some photos of them but when we stopped for a movie there was a building in the way... when I got home the ones that I wanted to take were already not around but this is what was there instead... a good night wave from Mother Nature...

I can't believe it but the month of May is done... and I actually got through the month with a photo every day... I only have 8 more months of this he he ....

Saturday our main objective was to go to a garden center in Petit Rocher (Little Rock) not too far from where we lived... and this is the gazebo that is for sale up there... made of cast iron and we have fallen in love with it... but it will remain in Les Jardin Robert et Diane's yard because the price tag on it is 5000.00 a little over the budget I think he he...
